Conversations with Tim and Barbara Cook on Life, Death & Resurrection
The Joy & Simplicity of Life Devoted to God
Four Consecutive Wednesday evenings June 8th– June 29th
In-person in the Sanctuary 7:15-8:30pm CDT and broadcast online
You are invited to spend four, Wednesday evenings from 7:15-8:30 with our founders Tim and Barbara Cook for “Conversations on Life, Death & Resurrection: The Joy & Simplicity of Life Devoted to God”. We will explore a Christian Contemplative experience of a life in Christ, dying to self, rising into more love, light and life, and welcoming death as self-transcending surrender. Come in person or online for sharing of experiences and stories from our “trust-worthy guides” as they bear witness to the fruits of a life of devotion to God. Suggested donation $40. Register below.
Contemplative knowing is this inter-penetration of spirits…with God in which human nature and the divine nature are intermingled and become one, and the oneness turns out to be everything. So, to become nothing in oneself is to become everything in What is. This will change the world.
