Welcoming Prayer Workshop

March 20, 2010 @ 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Cost is $30. Please pre-register in the office or call 347-9673.
The Welcoming Prayer is a method of consenting to God’s presence and action in our physical and emotional reactions to events and situations in daily life. The purpose of the Welcoming Prayer is to deepen our relationship with God through consenting in ordinary activities. The practice helps to dismantle the emotional programs of the false-self system and heal the wounds of a lifetime by addressing them where they are stored…in the body. It contributes to the process of transformation in Christ initiated in Centering Prayer.

The presenter of this workshop is Mary Dwyer. She is a clinical psychologist, a Centering Prayer practitioner since 1987, and on the faculty of Contemplative Outreach since 1995.

This workshop is continued on Sunday, March 21st from 1-3pm.
