Weekend with Rabbi Joseph Schultz

June 8, 2013 @ 9:30 am – 12:00 pm

Rabbi Schultz, along with his wife Bella and their daughter Rena will visit CCH to share some timely teachings. In the 1980’s, Tim and Barbara studied the Kabbalah and the Commentaries with Joseph and Bella. Joseph has also been a guest speaker at CCH and has been retreat master for Tenth Man School retreats.

Dr. Schultz recently published two books and he is now involved in a writer’s tour. “The Kabbalistic Journey: From Religion to Spirituality to Mysticism” explores the nature, purpose, stages and approaches found within the Kabbalah. It demonstrates across cultural contexts how religion, spirituality and mysticism are integrated in the practice of Kabbalah. It shows how spirituality and religion are the indispensable antecedents to mysticism. “In Search of Higher Wisdom” is based on conversations with his children. The sacred text of the Torah is believed to have many levels, levels directed to many different individuals-different types of people with different levels of intellectual, ethical and mystical understanding. All of these people share the same questions. This book provides answers for all.

Quantum Reality and the Kabala – Rabbi Schultz and Rena will converse on: what is reality; how do we create it; what is the nature of probabilities, parallel lives and multiple experiences; quantum expression and how the Kabbalist were intuitively aware of it.
