Redirecting Children’s Behavior

This is a powerful course that teaches heart-centered, practical
parenting skills. The course atmosphere is supportive,
non-judgmental, loving and fun. Ideal for YES volunteers.

Kim Cavins, a certified parenting instructor through The International Network for Children and Families, will lead the
15-hour course.

Parents/teachers learn to:
•Resolve conflicts without power struggles
•Focus on the problem without judging the child
•Allow children to solve their own problems, offering guidance when needed
•Teach children to deal with feelings effectively
•Replace negative motivational messages w/positive ones
•Assist children in becoming self-sufficient, responsible and self-confident
•Become a happier and calmer parent or care giver

Cost:$350/couple (share book & workbook)
$225/single (includes book & workbook)
$195/each bring a friend (each receives own book & workbook)
$50 refresher – full course review
