And the Spirit led him into the desert… Luke 4:1
We know that each of us are called by divine appointment to attend this retreat. This is our first dual-path retreat (some will participate from home and some in-person at Cedarbrake) and we are grateful for your intention and willingness to participate in new ways of being together as we continue evolving to meet the times. We look forward to the opportunity of joining with each of you in silence, intention, and love during this sacred time. Our retreat will be a prayerful, quiet and spacious. We will have an opportunity to all join online for Centering Prayer, Lectio Divina, prayerful movement/yoga and celebration of the Eucharist. There will be times for spiritual companioning, if desired, and expansive spaces for time on one’s own — to walk in nature, to read, journal, watch a video of Thomas Keating, or simply to rest.
The retreat schedule will be Friday 7:00-8:30pm CT, Saturday/Sunday/Monday 6:00am-8:15pm and Tuesday 6:00am-10:30am. Saturday-Monday 10:00am-4:00pm are open for additional time of silence and solitude.
Retreat will be led by Barbara Cook and staffed by Beth Pierce, Ana Gallo, LeAnn Billups and Jill Frank.
