Welcoming Prayer Workshop - Sat., March 20th 9am-3pm & Sunday, March 21st 1pm-3pm
Presented by Mary Dwyer

The Welcoming Prayer is a method of consenting to God's presence and action in our physical and emotional reactions to events and situations in daily life. The purpose of the Welcoming Prayer is to deepen our relationship with God through consenting in ordinary activities. The practice helps to dismantle the emotional programs of the false-self system and heal the wounds of a lifetime by addressing them where they are stored....in the body. It contributes to the process of transformation in Christ initiated in Centering Prayer.

Mary Dwyer is a clinical psychologist, a Centering Prayer practitioner since 1987, and on the faculty of Contemplative Outreach since 1995.

Pre-registration is required. The cost is $30. You can register in the office or call 347-9673. There will be a one-hour lunch break on Saturday. You can either bring a brown bag lunch and eat in the Fellowship Hall, or eat off-site.
